Pediatrics
We offer full spectrum pediatrics including newborn care, routine wellness appointments, vaccinations, developmental screening along with in depth management of any medical problems.
Raising children can be unpredictable. We offer same day appointments for unexpected urgent concerns and pride ourselves on making sure all of our patients’ needs are addressed by the end of each day.
Geriatrics
In addition to comprehensive adult primary care we also focus on geriatric medicine, aiming to bring a compassionate and meticulous approach to our visits. Our geriatric appointments provide additional time for thorough evaluations and family oriented discussions including functional and cognitive assessments.
Holistic Pain Management
We offer in-depth consultations for people suffering from chronic pain, including advanced musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions. Dr. Ware and Dr. Pace are board certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and utilize a hands-on approach aiming to restore balance and healing.Our advanced holistic approach to pain management includes a wide variety of evidence-based therapies ranging from medications to homeopathy, movement therapy, rehabilitation, and life style integrative education. We provide additional time for these services to allow for in-depth discussions, with a goal to restore function and joy in your life.
Lifestyle Integration and Weight loss
Have you ever encountered a period of your life where you felt tired, depressed, or just off track? Do you have any interest in making lifestyle changes to help you lose weight, eat healthier, or quit smoking? Do you feel overwhelmed, lost, or not know what is making your life off balance? These are the most common types of visits to any medical practice. We thought it would be great if we could create dedicated office visits to explore, uncover and address these problems with our patients. These visits allow for prolonged time to focus on the most important aspects of health and wellness.
Laboratory Services
We offer in-house laboratory services to meet all of your needs. Old Fort Family Medicine is partnered with Labcorp, who will provide exceptional convenience to your medical appointments. We offer a wide variety of rapid diagnostic tests, medication injections, Coumadin / INR monitoring, phlebotomy, microbiology cultures and pathology services from the comfort of one office. All of your results will integrate seamlessly into our electronic patient portal for your records.
Telehealth
Old Fort Family Medicine is equipped to meet the growing demand for convenient tele-health services including live streaming video and phone visits. Established patients will have full access to these services upon request.
